The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) released its new Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form on August 17, 2020. The old Custody and Control Form (CCF) will be valid through August 30, 2021. The new CCF has been approved for use as of September 1, 2020.

One of the changes made to the CCF include the addition of the commercial driver’s license (CDL) number and state of issuance to the donor identification information. This will help medical review officers (MROs) to report drug and alcohol violations to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Instructions for how to fill out the CCF can be found on the SAMSHA and ODAPC websites.
