FMCSA Increases DOT Drug Testing Percentage for 2020
The FMCSA has released the new annual minimum random DOT drug testing percentages for drivers operating a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) requiring a CDL. The required testing percentage will increase from 25 percent to 50 percent beginning January 1, 2020. The alcohol testing percentage will remain at 10 percent. This percentage is based on the average number of driver positions in that year.
